It takes the reader on a musical ride through the author's 40+ year career in the music business. It introduces you to the loves in his life, and the reason he is now single.
From the age of 6; when he first became obsessed with music, to his first professional gig at age 13. Finally to his last performance on a stage, at age 55, this revealing look at a life spent in devotion to the art of music.
418 pages filled with tantalizing stories, unbelievable situations, troubled times and hardships with the band members, and 14 pages of photos.
The book's main focus deals with his 5-year span performing with the "Broadway." An 8-piece cover & show band. Between 1975 through 1980. Broadway traveled the east coast, performing to large crowds at major venues from the New England area to Florida, Tennessee and Virginia.

Fortune smiles on Simon, when he takes a case, potentially to protect his female client. the case leads Simon to a ring of thieves and a warehouse filled with stolen property, ultimately winning him a finder's fee for recovering the goods

This is the first in a series of episodes for Simon Blaise PI. At 120 pages, it's a quick read, filled with surprises.
Simon Blaise PI: Episode 2, A matter of millions.
Simon takes a vacation to South America. While at sea, during the return trip to the states, a female passenger is seen falling overboard by another passenger.
A frantic effort to recover the body fails, however, after an initial count of the passengers, there seems to be no one missing. This strange occurrence causes the ship's Captain to enlist his recently famous passenger, Simon Blaise to aide in solving this dilemma.
Simon is asked to find identify the fallen mystery passenger and, to determine the accuracy of the eyewitness, who was partying heavily at the time of the incident. As a result, Simon's investigation reveals clues, indicating a possible murder has been committed. 150 pages of suspense.
Simon Blaise PI: Episode 3, Old friends, new friends, evil friends.
In this episode, one of Simon's close friends; a Marine Captain, seeks Simon's help.

His family has been threatened if he doesn't cooperate with the demands of an anonymous mystery caller, who wants to recruit the Captain into a scheme to defraud the US government out of millions of dollars.
​
Simon uses every member of his staff to discover the identity of the mystery caller and his accomplices. Once he learns who the Mystery caller is, Simon is sickened and blindsided by his discovery.
Simon Blaise PI: Episode 4, Makayla's Man.
While having dinner with Helen, at a local restaurant,. Simon and Helen befriend a young troubled waitress named Makayla. Simon writes Helen's telephone number on one of his business cards, and tells Makayla to call Helen if she needs advice.

Not long after that meeting, Helen gets a frantic call from Makayla, asking for her help. Before you know it, Simon gets involved and, after speaking with Makayla at length, discovers that her boyfriend, Frank is about to make the biggest mistake of his life. Frank, has fallen in with thieves who have planned a major heist.
Makayla begs Simon to stop Frank before he commits a crime that will cost him 20 years of his life, behind bars and their happiness.
Simon Blaise PI: Episode 5, A star's final performance.
Simon is called to Hollywood to determine if a near fatal, on-set accident, to the film's leading lady was just an accident or was it a deliberate act.

Simon Must question every crew member, to determine if foul play existed. Along the way, Simon meets and befriends several Hollywood insiders, who are eager to help him in his investigation.
​
The book sets the scene for intrigue and mystery. It also shares tidbits of info about Movie production and what some of the terms used by the crew and cast mean.
