Salvatore (Sal) Lennard Barone - aka - Lenny Baron

         Sal has been writing since 1970. As an aspiring musician/songwriter, like many of his Peers, most of his tunes were never published. He did, however, have more success as a performer; under the stage name, Lenny Baron (see the book, "Stories from the road"). 

 

        Sal's first published piece and first attempt at creative writing came by chance. He was assigned the task of researching and writing a short bio piece for a relative, who was being inducted into Ring 14 boxing association's hall of fame. The piece was published in that boxing association's periodical.

 

       During the late 80's, as a realtor, Sal wrote and produced a 15-page booklet  "The guide for the first time home buyer;"  detailing the ins and outs of purchasing a home. The booklet was used as a handout, for prospective clients and was very helpful, answering most of their questions about the purchasing process.

     Between 1975 & 1980; Sal spent most of that time on the road with his band, "Broadway." Retiring from music in 2003, he eventually moved to Florida, where he currently resides.
